local. sustainable. communal. creative.
Sacred Space. Daily Ritual.
The Oxford community saved this former church from demolition. Sanctum gave it a second life.
Specialty coffee in the morning, a scratch kitchen through lunch, rotating dinners on the weekends, and a space that is still bringing the community together.
Specialty Coffee.
Hand-Selected Wines.
The beans for every shot of espresso pulled or drip coffee poured are sourced from a local female-owned roastery. Every wine is specifically selected. And the menu rotates with the season, and the chef's intuition, so the café you walk into for Thursday dinner is a new experience from the one you'll have at Sunday brunch.

your weekly ritual
A Monday morning cortado and a bagel. A Thursday dinner you plan around. A post-pottery class glass of wine and dessert on Saturday. Sanctum was built to fit into your weekly routine, whether you order ahead or plan to spend some time under the stained glass.

Be the
Office Hero
Office mornings, team lunches, milestone celebrations, or a gathering that needs more than a coffee run. Sanctum brings the specialty coffee, the scratch kitchen, and the café energy to wherever you are.

Private Gatherings Handled
A rehearsal dinner where the stained glass does the decorating for you, a baby shower that feels like someone's living room instead of a rented hall, or a pottery workshop where the team leaves with something they made. This former church has been holding gatherings for over 70 years. Yours is next.

Community Highlights

more than a restaurant,
a love letter to oxford
Hi! I’m Anna Housman, and my family and I welcome you to our little "sanctum."
As a long-time resident of Downtown Oxford, I couldn’t be more excited to take this wild vision and bring it to life to share with you, our community! It might sound a bit odd that we call this old church-turned-restaurant a "love letter to Oxford," but we think once you visit, you'll get it. Arrive as you are. Leave a little lighter.
